We deliver custom-made, with CNC steering, prefabricated load-bearing walls that are filled with hemplime. Your building arrives on the construction site in the shape of prefabricated walls (including insulation, tubing and the finishing layer), insulated roof panels and intermediate floors. Thanks to our time- and labor-saving method, a complete construction is a matter of days. Our walls are suitable for both residential and industrial applications.

Residential construction

The different steps towards your hemplime house.
1. Your building plan
The plan of your home is the foundation of your building project. Since our panels are custom-made, the architectural options are virtually unlimited. This flexibility in design allows us to meet all your needs. Our walls are load-bearing structures that can be built up to 3 storeys high in the standard format.
2. The production plan
Based on your architectural and stability plans, we make a detailed production plan, in which all dimensions, openings and construction elements are included.
3. Production
After approval of the production plan, the basis for the cutting and assembly plan, the walls are made to measure, filled with hemplime and dried. After a few weeks the ready-made walls can be delivered on the construction site.
4. Assembly
Thanks to the custom-made panels and the easy to use mounting system, a specialised contractor can construct a water- and windproof building in just a few days. This working method guarantees a quick delivery and savings in time and labor costs.
5. Completion
Our panels already contain all insulation materials and can be equipped in advance with tubing techniques. This allows the completion of your house immediately after the installation. On request, we can pre-install the ExtremeGreen Magnesium panel on the inside of our walls. On these panels, every finishing is possible (painting, plastering, wallpaper,…).

Straw construction
Straw also has many good qualities as a building material. We use the same wall structure as for our hemplime walls but we replace the hemplime by straw. This allows us to launch the concept of prefabricated construction in straw construction. We use our own certified straw bales which we can deliver separately.
Houseboat
The Johan van Hasselt canal, a side channel of the IJ in Amsterdam - will be the venue for an ecological floating cohousing project ‘Schoonschip’ as from 2018. Hemp in a box supplies the hemplime walls for one of the floating lots, for which a number of additional challenging factors have to be taken into account.
